Unwind - FMF Vol. 14 Mix, and a Birthday Wish

Good Monday people. After a decent day digging on Saturday (the Rufus Thomas side was a killer!), some much needed reading ( The House That Trane Built: The Story of Impulse Records), an England victory over Israel 3-0 in a Euro 2008 qualifier, and a night of Dexter on DVD ( genius!), I managed to put the finishing touches on this new mix, Unwind - FMF Vol. 14. This isn’t just an ordinary mix, it’s one dedicated to my little sister. Her and her family have been a huge supporter of my crazy DJ and record endeavors. I’m serving up a healthy portion of raw Funk and Soul, 14 to be exact for the 14th mix I’ve done since the inception of Flea Market Funk. It starts off heavy (as I always try to do), and eventually finishes up with some Sweet Soul.
