I happened to follow up on a suggestion that a friend of mine gave me a few days ago and put in the group name “The Electric Express” on the Google search engine. I came up with a few Website’s, including this one, which had information about the group I played in for several years. It made my day. I’ve been in education since ‘76 and have lost touch with the guys over the years. I didn’t even know that Chuck (Charles Richardson) had passed. I recently retired and will now have more time to go back home and see some old friends. Thanks a lot FleaMarketFunk.

Good day, I am the daughter of the drummer Robert Morgan (pappy Morgan). It’s so wonderful to see people really interested with my fathers band music. My brother and myself have been trying for years to find out any type of information. All members are still alive except one and that would be Charles Richardson who was the bass player. Vic Hudson and Robert Morgan(Pappy Morgan) still resides in Greensboro, N.C. Last heard of Powell(Horn player) he was living in Virginia somewhere. Thanks soooo much for doing a wonderful web page on the Elcetric Express and giving them the credit thats way long over-due.
